<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjYzaFZYz_YUqzkvFBIKBApfxJoS6QUTOKrJIHY1Gz0wlBqXAEqtgr6_-kA8XhQLtNWKdxDLUfczTlppADEx22yIwDPkfLKs4CxqoSmrU0LhTb60oPXfKvTldsaz0w5rrjCTCtcrfD8Ocs/s1600/IMG_1443.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="640" data-original-width="480" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjYzaFZYz_YUqzkvFBIKBApfxJoS6QUTOKrJIHY1Gz0wlBqXAEqtgr6_-kA8XhQLtNWKdxDLUfczTlppADEx22yIwDPkfLKs4CxqoSmrU0LhTb60oPXfKvTldsaz0w5rrjCTCtcrfD8Ocs/s320/IMG_1443.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
YA'LL I am so in LOVE with these Pom Poms - I have made them before but </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
never with the extra thick yarns. I always used the basic crochet yarns.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I always made small ones and not so great at that. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Also, can I just say - I have purchased several pom pom makers. For the life of me I can't</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
figure them out. Like they never worked. I followed the directions but somehow they never </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
tied off right.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
So I did it the old fashioned way.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Using my hand...</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi03rK279_MrnmtYob4NgB1k4oaUSbfBIUwjfus7WjUvvNgtRblrC1eIRVOCsbq5zYFYnNw-hCpLnoMn80SGo2hroSQAFNUSaHZVYBwNF_QN62R2SBSY1zP8AA9VNVr8neO3YxfsmKblXU/s1600/IMG_1452.PNG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="640" data-original-width="295" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi03rK279_MrnmtYob4NgB1k4oaUSbfBIUwjfus7WjUvvNgtRblrC1eIRVOCsbq5zYFYnNw-hCpLnoMn80SGo2hroSQAFNUSaHZVYBwNF_QN62R2SBSY1zP8AA9VNVr8neO3YxfsmKblXU/s320/IMG_1452.PNG" width="147" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
It comes off your hand nice and easy and you can then easily see where to tie off the pom pom</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhNb0RKNrZ_aXOsGEVMSXTSC4-eXzB1YqYk284TrjtCYpmoXvKnGzcUXfIqkbvr7q2vVs1hT6cxBVOaNNyDyRG97TxhSn9uFE2TcO1t2yPLupieCIXdDatveg8UmHI2iIVg3B2V3V31GE4/s1600/IMG_1453.PNG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="640" data-original-width="295" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhNb0RKNrZ_aXOsGEVMSXTSC4-eXzB1YqYk284TrjtCYpmoXvKnGzcUXfIqkbvr7q2vVs1hT6cxBVOaNNyDyRG97TxhSn9uFE2TcO1t2yPLupieCIXdDatveg8UmHI2iIVg3B2V3V31GE4/s320/IMG_1453.PNG" width="147" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Then you get to trim and fluff.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The pom pom makers do claim to not need trimming but </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I think when you have the chance to trim you can make the pom pom</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
as big or as small as you want.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjdKFvxIP5B_lK0ERovdTm637DDTF_JvDA9h2l2dzDhShglT4FwE1G-httD0JLNWDvtsfiZdXa0SUgw2lhEzZRIQcZDelOq3edsgMfOejMkRJXV0u19-wC6OjwnoejpGNZKh2k9K8zhLeg/s1600/IMG_1454.PNG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="640" data-original-width="295" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjdKFvxIP5B_lK0ERovdTm637DDTF_JvDA9h2l2dzDhShglT4FwE1G-httD0JLNWDvtsfiZdXa0SUgw2lhEzZRIQcZDelOq3edsgMfOejMkRJXV0u19-wC6OjwnoejpGNZKh2k9K8zhLeg/s320/IMG_1454.PNG" width="147" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Ok some key things to keep in mind.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The fluffier yarns are better for pom pom making.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The kind you use for blankets and sweaters. They go on sale quite often at Joann's</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This first pom pom was made using that fluffy sweater making yarn.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjfPF9kEQL02M7TR-N0NMPqk3tLSulzr-ahCawoPRn6YfrYJKplmhc_eZzEU5K3XvrmctD26k6AkbR4B0JlRqMKI9TAjjqiOdEnUABzgJttsiJY4mivgHTCf942YgsBru6GCcKfbdCtUvU/s1600/061A69E0-CF93-4423-926A-C62AEA116A0D.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="640" data-original-width="480" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjfPF9kEQL02M7TR-N0NMPqk3tLSulzr-ahCawoPRn6YfrYJKplmhc_eZzEU5K3XvrmctD26k6AkbR4B0JlRqMKI9TAjjqiOdEnUABzgJttsiJY4mivgHTCf942YgsBru6GCcKfbdCtUvU/s320/061A69E0-CF93-4423-926A-C62AEA116A0D.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The pom pom below was made using standard crochet yarn</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
It doesn't fluff up as much. I think the smaller you make it the fuller it looks.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgMKas9Oh257bRDY5tLBrqwjUpUiWxSB5HtBCSxfL1ErXe-QitD9x9AzpjCuvA3vaXHrF4X9bu8I55v9eMx3hPqrPwDP6c9hzzK-capYy3Vyx9UB89VZhWWr6mXZbKXifk_5kwgqhVCbMI/s1600/IMG_1445.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="640" data-original-width="480" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgMKas9Oh257bRDY5tLBrqwjUpUiWxSB5HtBCSxfL1ErXe-QitD9x9AzpjCuvA3vaXHrF4X9bu8I55v9eMx3hPqrPwDP6c9hzzK-capYy3Vyx9UB89VZhWWr6mXZbKXifk_5kwgqhVCbMI/s320/IMG_1445.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This yarn is vintage stock - its thick and has great color but the texture is course </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
perhaps it was used to wrap gifts.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
But this didn't fluff up and you can see the bald spots - it doesn't lay nicely.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Thinking about using up those cute POM POMS</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
by making a fun Valentine's Day wreath.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I mean can it get much cuter than this?</div>

Happy New Year friends...</div>

<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiANYupmJMF5jsRPpfJUxA1YAVKCVkE5DjsSDvm2sKw_AzEHTq_XhVXUWqSgdiv_Zx71vmArEH4DGdWMmPif7vcToM2UGij48TuoroRtwQI8QmSQchS3aifqDCUvPfBS5-_d862rLXQ3Qw/s1600/IMG_1068.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="640" data-original-width="480" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiANYupmJMF5jsRPpfJUxA1YAVKCVkE5DjsSDvm2sKw_AzEHTq_XhVXUWqSgdiv_Zx71vmArEH4DGdWMmPif7vcToM2UGij48TuoroRtwQI8QmSQchS3aifqDCUvPfBS5-_d862rLXQ3Qw/s400/IMG_1068.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
It has been a long while since I have been here on this blog. I think part of the reason was because I felt like what I had to say didn't really matter in the scheme of the crafty world.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I made stuff every day and all day, but just didn't feel like it was interesting enough to share. I think that falls with measuring up - feeling like I don't compare with other crafters.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
It was all self-inflicted misery (not really misery but just bad juju I was inflicting on myself) </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Comparison is the thief of creativity. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
but </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
2020</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
is a </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
NEW YEAR</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
no more worrying what others think. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
No more trying to impress others.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I will make cute stuff </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
because I love to MAKE stuff </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
plain and simple.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I hope you stick around and find something you like to make here on this blog</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
and if you make something I helped inspire please </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
send me photos so I can see how amazing yours came out. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Heres wishing you a fantastically creative 2020</div>

<br />
I have been scrapbooking for 20+ yeas and if you recall the options for paper and stickers were pretty sad back then. When I found something I loved I bought a bunch of sheets and used it for everything. I would hand cut flowers and sometimes letters out of my special papers (this was before sizzix and cricut)<br />
<br />
Todays project reminds me of some good Old school paper crafting<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjjetzI6ckkIQFp7n7NuQcEA8xr_8MrOhce5I6Qw-ybBmVrILNZWFmyqIMgh77HceOlBt3UKMG0HymfhUTAiiEyO2OBzC4_fnklRCifAcqnKn-3SfupsfqnjBlhmgxu-V56Dr-rpkzuDg4/s1600/IMG_8248.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjjetzI6ckkIQFp7n7NuQcEA8xr_8MrOhce5I6Qw-ybBmVrILNZWFmyqIMgh77HceOlBt3UKMG0HymfhUTAiiEyO2OBzC4_fnklRCifAcqnKn-3SfupsfqnjBlhmgxu-V56Dr-rpkzuDg4/s400/IMG_8248.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
These paper flowers and brads came in a kit from Doodlebug Designs, aren't their paper kits the most amazing colors and graphics out there.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Here are the big BASIC flowers that were included in the kit.</div>
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhLEGenJmd6ff4KnMHBNKi07BJOwF1o1MVqjqQ0pC4L4puQaHH_B8Cf9ORF8PkSVQ1xlt8KhBH0LwRm47e_tH4QoNkxnEJJDm_jqYZUESygBOY1uXagtn2GU9zP6bvBsyZ_5atr1jj-y-E/s1600/IMG_8244.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhLEGenJmd6ff4KnMHBNKi07BJOwF1o1MVqjqQ0pC4L4puQaHH_B8Cf9ORF8PkSVQ1xlt8KhBH0LwRm47e_tH4QoNkxnEJJDm_jqYZUESygBOY1uXagtn2GU9zP6bvBsyZ_5atr1jj-y-E/s320/IMG_8244.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I cut a 6 x 6 piece of chipboard and another piece for the stand up piece for the back (see old school papercrafting) and added the 1 sheet of paper that came in the flower kit</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

This will serve as a crafting on a budget idea as well as some simple holiday home decor ideas. <div><br></div><div>For this Valentine’s Day project all you need is paper and a paper punch. Notice how I used a circle punch (it was closest to me) but of course you could use a heart punch or even a star punch. If you only have small punches, those will work too. Just make more punch Outs and have the garland extend longer. Easy fix. </div><div><br></div><div><img id="id_ada3_46f2_2007_4405" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-i42eQXBbbE8/XEtsOFpOtII/AAAAAAAAM_g/tEtN2szXXCcvCcbjlCBpQVbWzXc5FPFMwCHMYCw/s5000/%255BUNSET%255D" alt="" title="" tooltip="" style="width: 392px; height: auto;"><br>Grab your supplies - I prefer double sided paper that way you dont have to worry about how your garland is laying and won’t see a white back unless of course that’s part of your color scheme. <br><img id="id_c70a_fd52_cb2e_1999" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-lw14KkbMQj8/XEtsOwP_rvI/AAAAAAAAM_k/1PIUX9P-dvoMLT51Q227Z08lC3kkLP89QCHMYCw/s5000/%255BUNSET%255D" alt="" title="" tooltip="" style="width: 392px; height: auto;"><br>Punch the circles <br><img id="id_b8f3_3df3_7d05_ae36" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-J6LemB-LCbM/XEtsPTTiDQI/AAAAAAAAM_o/vS4zY5d_jKwcddzAOc39Z_hJu6VjnKBdgCHMYCw/s5000/%255BUNSET%255D" alt="" title="" tooltip="" style="width: 392px; height: auto;"><br>Again using what you have - if you only have one sided paper just glue 2 pieces together <br><img id="id_e90c_ec18_8c17_7ab3" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-b0EG4DHurY0/XEtsP8tVr0I/AAAAAAAAM_s/eYrbt7LGIbsE7Gm3d6DpBNFQDFlh6mAMACHMYCw/s5000/%255BUNSET%255D" alt="" title="" tooltip="" style="width: 392px; height: auto;"><br>Sew the circles together in a long chain. <br><img id="id_8c5a_6007_5e67_d5f1" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-536Y-q_oSNA/XEtsQVpHooI/AAAAAAAAM_w/QH4wCOvKQe0m7hfKGRhsEYKndPnECddUQCHMYCw/s5000/%255BUNSET%255D" alt="" title="" tooltip="" style="width: 392px; height: auto;"><br>Cute right? <br><img id="id_cc2a_92e4_7841_f18e" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-iHlTxB0vrGY/XEtsQ-mQZSI/AAAAAAAAM_0/xEd8LVoxq5cydBvsjYhsD9GrHaOJP-5fQCHMYCw/s5000/%255BUNSET%255D" alt="" title="" tooltip="" style="width: 392px; height: auto;"><br><br>See how cute and “sew” simple. The colors are soft and the embellishments are totally sewing related and fun<br />

<div>
<img alt="" id="id_3937_6b7f_3630_94e7" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-P_V7pgo0TLo/XDzzmY1e8iI/AAAAAAAAM-k/ctjikX2UhIQWjf9J2bunjOt8gV_-4bXGgCHMYCw/s5000/%255BUNSET%255D" style="height: auto; width: 392px;" title="" tooltip="" /><br />

<img alt="" id="id_543f_a627_5b26_2f51" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-cTaF_prBb8A/XDzznF54EkI/AAAAAAAAM-o/wWZvoKTRm_ATEOWyoJIWC69A26ZyncPxACHMYCw/s5000/%255BUNSET%255D" style="height: auto; width: 392px;" title="" tooltip="" /><br />

Welcome and Hello again.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj-fnFwZvPfmVHBiUy5JeH2Apq98abSpZyPXX1TOxRSs0ZMm_RobvQlaG5sw1IBQgAmRh8idaDXI3PgjjTJEaz1l6AO_QwdHJ56D8R-7iDN1-eEI21Ue4BbAbB0n-kGp2l1kWBS9Ha3ciU/s1600/IMG_7418+%25283%2529.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="640" data-original-width="480" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj-fnFwZvPfmVHBiUy5JeH2Apq98abSpZyPXX1TOxRSs0ZMm_RobvQlaG5sw1IBQgAmRh8idaDXI3PgjjTJEaz1l6AO_QwdHJ56D8R-7iDN1-eEI21Ue4BbAbB0n-kGp2l1kWBS9Ha3ciU/s320/IMG_7418+%25283%2529.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I can not believe that we have begun a New Year, 2019!! Not sure about you but I had great intentions and plans for the start of the New Year. But to be honest, I've gotten off to a very slow start. How about you? Part of the blame is that we came back from a Vegas vacation on January 2nd. Then the hubbs and the kids were off until January 6th - so of course I didn't want to do much, other then WATCH NETFLIX and Chill. (insert laugh emoji)</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I have been in a funk of some sort...I am buying NEW craft supplies and have plans for said supplies - but my mind is full of other kooky issues - that really should not be weighing me down as much as I am letting them...I am anxiously awaiting a refresh. Like a 2nd shot at the New Year excitement and preparation...I think its coming - I feel it. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Until then, I am making some changes here on the blog and am making PLANS for some fun new projects. Its all being written down and flagged to get started on immediately. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
One of the main things I want to share more on here is LIFE. Sometimes I just need to get things off my chest and perhaps what I am going through may be what someone else is going through and I can help you or you can help me and we can get through it together. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I am giving myself permission to re-start the New Year - doesn't have to be tomorrow or the next day. But its coming and I am looking forward to it. You can to. Maybe you want a do over, or are also in a funk for what ever is going on in your life right now...it's ok. We don't always have to have our shit together. We are allowed to move slower then the rest of the world. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Here's to doing things our way and knowing that we still have time to make this New Year exactly what we wanted it to start off like.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Hugs friends</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>

<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Today I wanted to share the cutest set of ornaments ever to come to life. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I used one clear plastic ornament that has to be snapped together - which are ideal for placing Items inside the ornament and easy to customize. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I started off with tracing the ornament onto a piece of card board - that’s what they are both Based on...</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<br />
Covered the base with scrapbook paper </div>
<div>
Then for this ornament I added some wood veneer trees and a sticker<br />
<br />
<br />
Inked the edges of course placed snow in the center of the ornament then hot glued the clear dome over that. </div>
<div>
<a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-iXKwD6htkKM/XBqL9fvAX7I/AAAAAAAAM8k/GfRkosGpux8i0TlTLQRHub8FQFDpxypgwCHMYCw/s1600/%255BUNSET%255D" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"></a><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-iXKwD6htkKM/XBqL9fvAX7I/AAAAAAAAM8k/GfRkosGpux8i0TlTLQRHub8FQFDpxypgwCHMYCw/s1600/%255BUNSET%255D" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="" border="0" height="320" id="id_e576_11d2_5458_8a99" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-iXKwD6htkKM/XBqL9fvAX7I/AAAAAAAAM8k/GfRkosGpux8i0TlTLQRHub8FQFDpxypgwCHMYCw/s320/%255BUNSET%255D" style="height: auto; width: 392px;" title="" tooltip="" width="320" /></a></div>
<a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-2iKqFvvGe8Q/XBqL87222mI/AAAAAAAAM8Y/NZHDeo24VpgAa0MGH4beaBHDzOvtzC5rwCHMYCw/s1600/%255BUNSET%255D" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="" border="0" height="320" id="id_6d0_3bb1_27f5_3cd8" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-2iKqFvvGe8Q/XBqL87222mI/AAAAAAAAM8Y/NZHDeo24VpgAa0MGH4beaBHDzOvtzC5rwCHMYCw/s320/%255BUNSET%255D" style="height: auto; width: 392px;" title="" tooltip="" width="239" /></a><img alt="" height="320" id="id_6611_b8cb_b525_19a9" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-1c4d_Eqt6P0/XBqL9chf_3I/AAAAAAAAM8o/3aVTTKX8OEQENjQ_BYPX4tQxb3zZ_geDwCHMYCw/s320/%255BUNSET%255D" style="height: auto; width: 392px;" title="" tooltip="" width="239" /><br />
Added a doily to the back of the ornament and a another circle of scrapbook paper just to make it more festive. </div>
<div>
<br />
<img alt="" height="320" id="id_d374_6237_1d03_7176" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-PpD1mriNEj4/XBqL9TEvs2I/AAAAAAAAM8g/_WjWD2mGC7owxUHAuIvVGzOzTTaLHFRvwCHMYCw/s320/%255BUNSET%255D" style="height: auto; width: 392px;" title="" tooltip="" width="239" /><br />
<br />
This second one started with a set of stamps and dies by Prima marketing - this is literally a piece together ornament - it took a little longer then I had planned or wanted to spend but it came out super cute. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Started with the same card board base and scrapbook paper </div>
<div>
Then stamped and die cut some of the pieces </div>
<div>
<img alt="" id="id_93a0_4a35_22a7_de80" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-dMPpiVtJ9cc/XBqL-UxdpyI/AAAAAAAAM8w/Jbe1OaJzfmIYOmy-4KY4xFcIvzn3KU8awCHMYCw/s5000/%255BUNSET%255D" style="height: auto; width: 392px;" title="" tooltip="" /><br />
Rolling snow covered hills - stamped and die cut </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<img alt="" id="id_d54e_b9b_50d9_5ba6" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-yPG3wCoHRbM/XBqL9lsjxxI/AAAAAAAAM8s/dFO_AHWTbDQC9EXBpxBswN828mH1WpuCgCHMYCw/s5000/%255BUNSET%255D" style="height: auto; width: 392px;" title="" tooltip="" /><br />
Stamped and die cut the houses which are so small but so cute & actually they are the perfect size for this project. </div>
<div>
<br />
<img alt="" id="id_7dc1_3592_33cf_cac4" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-2m_8eq5Vu7A/XBqL9QL4hnI/AAAAAAAAM8c/fq_TbeNSyJYbeQTr0Z7BaOWOkMDiur8KQCHMYCw/s5000/%255BUNSET%255D" style="height: auto; width: 392px;" title="" tooltip="" /><br />
Finishing touches are some sparkly snow and some other stamped and die cut pieces and of course the Pom Pom fringe to hide the pop sides placement of the dome! Cute tho’ wouldn’t you agree? </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Tag me if you try this or share some of the ones you’ve made<br />
<br /></div>
<div>
Happy Christmas crafting friends </div>

You shouldn’t have to wash these bags since the candy is mostly sealed - </div><div>So you could just hang up for next year.!</div><div><br></div><div><img id="id_1455_6fef_4131_4069" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-zfMMe-Zfi1Y/W89rvLS6HeI/AAAAAAAAM4c/YUXWpXJbDHcLttz3xgg1mG-z5TVvz6lkgCHMYCw/s5000/%255BUNSET%255D" alt="" title="" tooltip="" style="width: 392px; height: auto;"><br>Cute right? I’m calling it a flip book. Why? Well the pages are different sized and there are a lot of extra pages added so you technically flip thru the album to look at and insert the photos. <div><br></div><div>Here’s one I just shared on Instagram </div><div><br></div><div><img id="id_8906_e2d9_7c9e_49be" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-1pKi3gk1i1o/WzPO6p2QgxI/AAAAAAAAMx0/ikvSanNMgLEBauL-QsWiXuKW4Hi4Ha1jgCHMYCw/s5000/%255BUNSET%255D" alt="" title="" tooltip="" style="width: 392px; height: auto;"><br>Front cover <br><img id="id_bdd9_d80b_69da_ebab" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-T_6UCP1CKCc/WzPO67TmmsI/AAAAAAAAMx4/J_1TV-wNuywa3idwQEBvFg4E-pnkKhFCACHMYCw/s5000/%255BUNSET%255D" alt="" title="" tooltip="" style="width: 392px; height: auto;"><br>Little inserts I added for journaling or photos <br><img id="id_e3ae_1428_d653_3bd7" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-uUKPWtgDD8Q/WzPO7O-5xCI/AAAAAAAAMyA/QgXXQV2XYC0aLe6TL-tNdxpdpTMygfEdgCHMYCw/s5000/%255BUNSET%255D" alt="" title="" tooltip="" style="width: 392px; height: auto;"><br>Pages for photos <br><img id="id_d74_540b_c71c_33fa" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-f1UMVVjeE8c/WzPO7Oo9TFI/AAAAAAAAMx8/UgE_nJh9LYIXmif79ZOcOa_cT4qHoIbKgCHMYCw/s5000/%255BUNSET%255D" alt="" title="" tooltip="" style="width: 392px; height: auto;"><br>Cute right <br><img id="id_28c0_a740_91bf_bd8" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-nxiAg5OTNZQ/WzPO7jnCm5I/AAAAAAAAMyE/PI5sKOYh6GogxoNajokZlQYGWCw9NvM3ACHMYCw/s5000/%255BUNSET%255D" alt="" title="" tooltip="" style="width: 392px; height: auto;"><br><br>This album holds approx 15+ photos - check out my Instagram for the short video showcasing each page. </div><div><br></div><div>I’ll share my personal flip book later - it’s really cute </div><div><br></div><div>Let me know if you like it. </div><div><br></div><div>Happy hump day!</div>Tinahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07602533365552265173noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3407002096267241547.post-1273432059344297942018-06-07T12:52:00.001-07:002018-06-07T12:52:58.676-07:00Using it all-new paper kit share I know I probably sound like a broken record but I’m all about using every last bit of items in a paper kit. <div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<img alt="" id="id_c59c_563b_1d6e_8760" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-u1dqZZCsxEA/Ww7StAYqCQI/AAAAAAAAMuo/dFtAxiDAoVUVvSggNgE-PZW5kwgKiJX4QCHMYCw/s5000/%255BUNSET%255D" style="height: auto; width: 392px;" title="" tooltip="" /><br />
<br />
This idea is a unique way to give money to a graduate. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<img alt="" id="id_5e87_e535_f7b0_ec0a" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-m1r_3g3t41M/Ww7StWjRgvI/AAAAAAAAMus/G5JhjDpP8NgLhubHz65jEXgDvcz2q_PKwCHMYCw/s5000/%255BUNSET%255D" style="height: auto; width: 392px;" title="" tooltip="" /><br />
Cute right? </div>
<div>
<br />
<img alt="" id="id_2d0a_60ad_b114_ed25" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-8WK_Mz_boLo/Ww7SteHGk_I/AAAAAAAAMu0/ByDsAvDDNEE637-YOt_QciP3Y4zwXngqACHMYCw/s5000/%255BUNSET%255D" style="height: auto; width: 392px;" title="" tooltip="" /><br />
<br />
Let’s get started </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Here are the supplies you’ll need to make this </div>
<div>
<img alt="" id="id_55ef_a204_62b6_383c" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-rxCuDXRktFI/Ww7StZrsuBI/AAAAAAAAMuw/JrcEtddsD4AviXEYrhQteHjzUrnqqdbKwCHMYCw/s5000/%255BUNSET%255D" style="height: auto; width: 392px;" title="" tooltip="" /><br />
<br />
First would be picking your jar. This is for my daughter, so I am packaging 100.00 - mostly ones, some 5.00s, a couple of 10.00s and 1 twenty... I used the jar on the left with the white cap. I had it already but I know bought it at the dollar store.<br />
<br />
See that there mason jar?<br />
<br />
Pretty sure it can hold 250.00 to 300.00 - I bought that one originally but my 100 bucks only filled 1/4 of the jar - doh! </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<img alt="" id="id_7414_a3e9_823b_14b1" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/--v93TU0GAec/Ww7SuCCSenI/AAAAAAAAMu4/tqklPl8ORJQ1wL3TXy9aYe1wWssWWvd5ACHMYCw/s5000/%255BUNSET%255D" style="height: auto; width: 392px;" title="" tooltip="" /><br />
<br />
<br /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Use those small rubber bands (also purchased at the dollar store) and wrap the dollar bills.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<img alt="" id="id_8e0f_77bb_eae1_e654" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-aDvqtYCRrXE/Ww7SuedCmSI/AAAAAAAAMu8/Z6nu9w1WE1oMMAxzJYcRPW9bK9Srkgn9ACHMYCw/s5000/%255BUNSET%255D" style="height: auto; width: 392px;" title="" tooltip="" /><br />
<br />
<img alt="" id="id_2ab_c960_3228_7551" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-BTWsCf3dukQ/Ww7SusB--OI/AAAAAAAAMvA/LCvDcCSCAjIPWZN7Zf7sCRJgN31Fbn2nQCHMYCw/s5000/%255BUNSET%255D" style="height: auto; width: 392px;" title="" tooltip="" /><br />
<br />
Here is my jar filled up and to be honest I could probably fit in another 20 bucks inside. Shh don't tell her that.<br />
<br />
<img alt="" id="id_ff60_16f3_219c_9ccc" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-Yzg52s5ikLc/Ww7SvJWhoxI/AAAAAAAAMvI/Bgrjb0Va2tsPlvJuPRVn3N0WOk75b3ZeQCHMYCw/s5000/%255BUNSET%255D" style="height: auto; width: 392px;" title="" tooltip="" /><br />
<br />
<div>
Now you’ll need to measure the circumference of the lid </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<img alt="" id="id_8fb2_698a_5df5_51ad" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-6ZuNv-VNXHU/Ww7SvDC5-nI/AAAAAAAAMvE/mDLmj4MnGro2KmUH0pN9cJmUp2YdB740gCHMYCw/s5000/%255BUNSET%255D" style="height: auto; width: 392px;" title="" tooltip="" /><br />
<br />
Cut a piece of black card stock and wrap it around the lid...<br />
<br />
<img alt="" id="id_c2f5_44f6_fb15_5630" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-WFL-lIhtZ50/Ww7Sv4twrJI/AAAAAAAAMvQ/-kQjqwmf7VEBDNUCC6EMVOQL72bJW-TLQCHMYCw/s5000/%255BUNSET%255D" style="height: auto; width: 392px;" title="" tooltip="" /><br />
<br />
The circumference of my lid is 12 1/2 inches around my CS is only 12 inches - but it’s no big deal - remember the kid will probably rip this apart to get to the money so that small detail won’t even be seen.<br />
<br />
<img alt="" id="id_834b_9a3c_bca9_5f15" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-Ntu_WzxEDzg/Ww7SvxkIh-I/AAAAAAAAMvM/sN-udArbTGwL2LwqJAxx2LdAsvE7xp2EQCHMYCw/s5000/%255BUNSET%255D" style="height: auto; width: 392px;" title="" tooltip="" /><br />
<br />
I cut a 6 inch square for the top of my jar - (1/2 the circumference I measured)<br />
<br />
<img alt="" id="id_e207_8a0_d7d_ff92" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-KYSdocGEeRk/Ww7Sv6hML0I/AAAAAAAAMvU/GCerW3D8ZYc39cAaOmDQqNKvmEqm4mZPACHMYCw/s5000/%255BUNSET%255D" style="height: auto; width: 392px;" title="" tooltip="" /><br />
<br />
I used 3 pieces of double sided foam tape to raise the height then stuck my square on top. I bought the small tassels at Michaels for some scrapbooking projects so I used it but you could make your own instead with the school colors if you wanted to be really crafty...and attached it to the top with a sticky dot and a black Pom Pom! </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<img alt="" id="id_8db4_93f4_e24f_579d" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-JCrq6Z3e2KA/Ww7SwjNYAHI/AAAAAAAAMvc/R5VrwDPYeQEDZXBnIJWcqGfEgnD3MaaFQCHMYCw/s5000/%255BUNSET%255D" style="height: auto; width: 392px;" title="" tooltip="" /><br />
<br />
<img alt="" id="id_96cf_cf11_2c0c_9fc2" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-l-ZKsbduNUE/Ww7SwncsYSI/AAAAAAAAMvY/MldwL8oyRWgOV1X4DUL9daLUlSMh7xYygCHMYCw/s5000/%255BUNSET%255D" style="height: auto; width: 392px;" title="" tooltip="" /><br />
<br />
<br /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
And ta-da MAGIC and an amazing treat to give your kid! </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Happy Graduation to all those kids out there and the parents who survived the journey (wink wink) </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
