Sweet baby Book

I just had to share another project I made using the paper kit from Pebbles that I told you about - this is a large 8 x 8 mini scrapbook that I made using only the items in the kit ---

Not bad right?
Nice and big and ready for baby's photos!
Tomorrow I'm gonna share a photo line up of all the items I created with the pebbles kit.
It'll be a long post for sure
I am linking this up to the challenges above.
Happy crafting

Welcome baby

I am still on a baby girl kick as seen in my last post and in this one. I am happy to say that I am also still using the same kit by Pebbles. I adore this paper kit and can you see how much stuff I am getting made out of this entire kit. As a professional crafter/scrapbooker - I would highly suggest buying a kit off of Peachy Cheap and crafty steals - they offer complete lines of paper kits and are reasonably priced.

Ok anyway here is another card I made with a brand new, fresh smelling, chubby baby  in mind. Hope you like it - I have some more to share from the same kit in the next few days.

Real simple but so girly, right?

I am linking this up to the following challenges:

artistic inspirations - anything goes
love to create - mad about plaid
love to scrap - anything goes
craft creations - anything goes
cutesy daisy - girly
the paper nest - anything goes

thanks for visiting

Thank you

Wanted to make some simple thank you cards to give to my guests that came to my birthday party last weekend - It was a small gathering shared with the people I care about most dear friends & family!

(my best girl friends)

(my brother & his wife)

(My kids & hubby in the back ground)

It was a fun night!!!
I even got some sweet gifts! So to thank them for coming & making my night special I came up with these super clean & simple cards.

Love the way they turned out, just some bits of scrap paper and my wonderful paper punches. Easy.
I am linking it up to the following challenges:

613 avenue creates - anything + summer

robins fetish - anything goes

the squirrel & the fox - anything goes

crafty calendar - anything goes

Have a beautiful day

An apple a day

Yesterday was the first day of school for my little boy - he is starting the 2nd grade.
Both my girls graduated from the school he is at and both had the exact same 2nd grade teacher and I fought hard to make sure he got her too and guess what - he did.

When I knew that he would be in her class I decided I had to make her something super fun and functional. I had seen something like this in an email I subscribe too and couldn't find it again so I did it from memory...

supplies you'll need are:
a canning jar
some paint (acrylic or spray)
a spool of thread
some jute
some felt and hot glue

I used chalk paint for the jar and as you can see this first attempt didn't turn out to well
Plus I like the look of the smaller - chubbier jar...

then cut out your leaves from the felt you have

I painted the one on the left with brown spray paint to fit the first red jar but I actually used the larger lid this time I also used some E6000 to secure the 2 pieces first then sprayed them

I decided to use a vintage spool of thread first took off the remaining thread then hand painted the spool brown - just the middle part because I wanted you to be able to see the old print on the spool.

To make the whole thing functional I decided to add some peppermints inside so that they could serve 2 purposes - cover up morning breath and also they help with upset stomachs. My daughters told me that is the only type of candy that teachers can give to kids at school. So there you have it.

Call me a kiss up or brown noser...I just was thrilled to get this teacher and was excited to show her that...Besides makes my boy look good and that's what its all about right??

Hope your back to school prep is going smoothly.

I am linking this up to the parties above.

Happy Thursday

Little Boy Blue

Sometimes I forget to blog, sometimes I don't want to blog, sometimes I have nothing to say. It's odd because I started this blog to share my crafty projects...and I make something new everyday - so I do have something to blog about but I just don't BLOG. Ughhhhhh! What to do?

With that aside - I have been having fun making random scrapbook pages - not pages for me but more for SALE - I have this thing about selling things that I would want to buy. You know something really well made, something that you could give as a gift, and something that is reasonably priced. So let me share my newest pages

I used a new kit from PEBBLES and it came with a bunch of cool stickers and embellishments.

I like to make pages to showcase one important photo and not a bunch of little ones - I think it makes a bigger statement. Besides a fresh new baby is something to celebrate and drool over right.

I am listing these 2 pages in my etsy shops...visit me at one crafty mess

I am linking this up to the challenges above.  Happy Monday folks...
