May the force be with you

Not sure if you are as crazy excited about the new Star Wars Movie coming out in December. But I can hardly wait. I love all the Star Wars movies out so far and I think more than anything it just makes me nostalgic - you know being a kid again anticipating a movie and even more excited to share it with my kids.
Although to be truthful the whole Darth Vader and Yoda thing is lost on them.

Even Target is getting in on the Star Wars fun.

I even decided to get crafty with the whole idea and made a fun chipboard scrapbook
How cool is this?

Used O-wires for the binding and some Star Wars papers I bought 2 years ago!!!

Gotta love me some YODA

It's not all about YODA but sure appears to be by the photos I have posted.
Even snuck a little bit of Washi Tape

Oh and then we can't forget about the beloved scrapbook page...

Love for the Storm Trooper

With a little bit of the new guys thrown in....

So yeah, feeling a little love for the whole Star Wars franchise.

Here's hoping you are getting some crafting done this week...
May the Crafting Force be with you all!

I will be listing this in my ETSY SHOP - in case you just have to have them {wink wink}

Promised more

and here it is:

The last of the projects I created using the SIMPLE STORIES Say Cheese paper kit ---

12 x 12 scrapbooking layout - that is ready for you to add your photos to.

All the embellishments came in the kit - can you stand the cuteness

It screams Disney but not to childish...

could use your grown up pics that were taken at Disneyland...

Here is the other side of the above layout

Aren't the colors cool -

Love the Kraft, light blue, red and gold all mixed together.

The pops of black are perfect in the mix - Loving the look of these pages.

O.k. so I have a few more items form this pack to share so stay tuned and also if you are interested in this double sided 12 x 12 scrapbook layout then please head over to my etsy shop and pick it up.

Have beautiful night sleep.

Getting scrappy with Tim Holtz

Trying to stay on track this year and keeping up to date on my scrapbooking. I was able to make a few pages to add to my Etsy store and then I got one done of a very important day for me.

So most people don't get my excitement but in the paper crafting field there are some super stars and well Tim Holtz and Mario are 2 of them. So I have been a fan of theirs and keep up with Tim's blog and Mario on Facebook - weird? I think more true FAN :-) Anyway, awhile back I won a giveaway Tim did and was over joyed to connect with Mario to get my prize and was in awe back then.

So if anyone who loves Tim and his products knows that he travels a lot and teaches all over and I have never been lucky enough to participate in those cool classes. So every year Tim goes to the Carson Stamp Show and everyone who follows him knows this (don't think I am a crazy stalker - wink) anyway its about an hour from my house to the Carson Show and after convincing talking my hubby into driving me down there we made it and I stood in back and watched "him" Tim that is...and he knew his stuff...I mean I expected no less but it was pretty cool...then I bought some stuff because well Mario was manning the register and sheeplishly asked for a photo - I actually think I mumbled something in pure excitement and he honored me with a photo.

Here is the scrapbook page I created of the "Best Day Ever"

Boy I was so star struck!!!

Here are some photos that I took but didn't make into my page...

He was the master at everything Tim! uh duh!!!!

That lady in the bun was in that front row spot for a good 2 hours...wouldn't budge

I mean really - that's me beaming with him in the background...its as close as I could get to him...
No really I am just a huge fan not a STALKER!!! promise...

Ok - so in honor of kicking the year of scrapbooking off to a good start here are the pages I just listed in my ETSY shop...

for the sweet pup in your life!

Christmas page

Love the colors for this page - also another Holiday page

Happy scrapbooking & star gazing

Baby Girl

I am feeling extremely sentimental today - tomorrow my first born baby girl will graduate from 8th grade and our summer will be spent preparing for HIGH SCHOOL. I mean really - 9th grade with big kids - who are much more savvy & experienced then she is. It's a scary thought but I know how excited she is....which reminds me to put my fears aside and not get her anxious but rather pray that I have shared enough and taught her enough to prepare for such a big transition....

This past weekend we had a graduation party for her and she had a blast...my daughter is the one on the left - the blondie....although I look like I could be the mother of the other 3 more so. {wink}

She was thrilled with her little party and it was fun to see her being silly - almost little girlish with her friends. Yup she wanted a jumper for her and her friends to use at her party (love)

to commemorate her growing up I made 2 scrapbook layouts to WELCOME a new BABY GIRL...

Because afterall this is the path that all mothers and daughters go thru no matter the color, ethnicity or country - we mothers birth our girls, care for them and teach them the ways of the world and prepare them for every stage of their lives...

Here is to more beautiful baby girls being born into this crazy world of ours. Congratulations....

I am linking this up to the parties above..

Have a beautiful weekend.
