Pom Pom Session 3

O.k. so a few days ago I shared my newest ideas for using pom poms...I think I may have a slight obsession with them. (ya think) anyway - this one happened upon me actually. I found a box of stuff I had made last Spring for a craft show - (stuff unsold) sadly. But some cute stuff frankly and I found these cuties...

I mean really - do they come any cuter?
Just 2 mini pom poms glued to each other and some fun little felt accents and 2 black glass beads for eyes...

each one nicely perched in their own nest inside a peet pot...totally says spring right? and the best part is that they have pin backs so these babies can be worn on your lapel or vest {squeal} can you stand it!

Ok. well add that to the pom pom list!!!

happy Easter ya'll
xx

Bright and Happy Card

Hope you are having a wonderful day what ever you are doing. I am busy cleaning up the house and cooking up some fun treats for Easter Sunday lunch while sticking with my quest to make MORE handmade cards I did make  a few more.
Here is one that I am quite fond of. I like to use my rubber stamps but because I am a scrapbooker first and foremost - I always have a bunch of embellishments left over from paper kits and love when I can use them for cards. As is the case here.

I am linking this card up to the following challenges:

a creative need - spring
a creative romance - eggcellent spring
craftitude - easter or spring
stampin with the dragon - spring time
qkrstampede - spring celebrations

Have a beautiful day.

New scrapbook layout

I love finishing up scrapbook layouts. I feel really accomplished when I get one done.

I wanted to share my newest layouts - I made 2 layouts of my true loves  1) being my hubby & 2) being my puppy

I love the one of us - it's so happy - I used Simple Stories papers & embellishments! Aren't they so colorful & happy😊

And here is the second layout

Aww now this is just to darn cute!!! Just used some basic paper & very few embellishments because I wanted my DOG Joe's photos to be the center of attention.

I Sure hope you have time to scrapbook. It sure is a sweet hobby that leaves lasting impressions -

Have a crafty weekend🎀

Going a little POM POM crazy

Can you really ever have too much cuteness? I mean really not only are these little guys super easy to make but I just seem to keep finding new things to do with them.

So in my attempt to de-clutter some of the extra "schtuff"

Besides making the usually pom pom banner and placing some inside an apothecary jar how about making flowers with them...well something that resembles a flower...How easy is it to grab some hot glue and insert a skewer into the pom and shazaam FLOWER power...

Perfect for my Spring décor.

Playing with paper - again

I am really digging these new paper kits that I have been quietly hoarding buying {wink wink} I just started to use some new stamps by My Favorite Things and thought that the sentiment went well with one of the Dear Lizzy cameras in her embellishment kit went superbly well together.

Wouldn't you agree??

Bonnet bunnies

I just had to share the cutest little bunnies ever - which I proudly made - out of those little mini straw hats.

Each with a lightly different look to them.

Actually to be brutally honest - I first forgot which way the pom poms should go } like nose on top or under cheeks.

And then to show you that not everything I try works out - I thought I would share this spooky bunny - to which I thought I would try green eyes - makes him look a little scary, at the very least odd!!!

What do you think? It's a Fun little gift to make and give to teachers & friends.

Dollar Store Easter Decor

I love the dollar store.
I mean who doesn't, right. Sometimes you can find some really cool holiday decorations for a DOLLAR I mean cant get better then that right? I made a cute kitchen table centerpiece using only items bought at the dollar store...here are the items:

For $4.00 I bought 2 bags of Styrofoam Easter picks, 1 bag of grass and 1 Easter glass.

Here are the super easy steps!!

Stuft the Easter grass into the cup then play with the egg picks where ever you think looks good. And there you have it! Something cute and cheap and re-useable.

I like it when you can do things on the cheap...
I am sharing this at the parties above.
