Quick Update

Every time I have a craft show coming up I become totally closed off and focused on making and getting things done. Here are some of the new things I have been working on

My funny little gnomes - I cant get enough of them....making them for every holiday... I sold all of my St. Patrick's Day Gnomes and have a smaller version for Easter - that I'll share later...

Here is a shot of my Valentines Day Gnomes and some fun string art

Here are some of the new albums I made
Hello Kitty

Here is another motivational chip board album filled with sweet uplifting sayings

Some new string art - which I love.

My most favorite new design is this sweet little GNOME - I am in LOVE with GNOMES maybe even a small obsession.

A new cruise ship album out of some fun new chipboard shaped pieces

another super fun shamrock string art piece...

Also I got a little side tracked by a visit from these 2 - my oldest son and his baby girl came to visit and well that just threw me out of my crafting zone. But totally worth it...this is a photo of all my kids and grandbaby!

and in case you were wondering what I show I was prepping for  - here it is!!!

Please stop by and visit me please.

Graduation Kit

Here is another fun kit that I wanted to share with you and show you how much you can make with all the pieces. It is the Graduation kit from DoodleBug Designs and its black, white, silver and golds...and some really cute embellishments. I wish I had a the whole kitpictured but I am sure you can find it online to see what comes in the kit...

This is the first album I made

which I listed in my shop immediately and it SOLD - Yeah...

Here is the 2nd album I made using the same kit...

Here are just some of the pages in the album - and its made of chipboard and only has 6 pages - plan to list it tomorrow in my shop

then I made 2 cards with some of the extra embellishments

oh and I was able to get one 12 x 12 scrapbook layout that I made as a pocket page.

sorry for half a picture. Anyway, as you can see the possibilities are quite enormous - you can get alot out of scrapbooking kit, just keep making.

all the items I blogged about here will be listed tomorrow in the shop -
onecraftymess.com for all the yummy goods.

Happy Crafting

Rainbows & sunshine

Another example of how I use the HECK out of one paper kit. This is my 3rd album - you can visit my Instagram account (@onecraftymess) to see the other albums I created using the same paper kit...

This is the cover I made using chipboard and o-wires to bind it...

Inside pages are super happy

And cheerful

Great 6 x 6 size too

I live how these all came out and best part is there still so many pieces left over.

I am working on making some cards with the left over pieces.

I'll share them when I am done with those.

I mean doesn't this album just scream HAPPY to you?

Ok so until next time. Happy crafting

July already?

Wait what happened to June? Oh my goodness, I must have fallen off the face of the Earth for a month. Funny thing is that even though I haven't been blogging I have still been very crafty.

I have been busily making fun scrapbooks made from chipboard...the most recent collection I made was a set of SCHOOL days albums. That are perfect for end of year celebrations and teachers gifts.

I am loving the fun graphics on this cover.

the inside is so fun and can totally be used for little kids memories or as a sweet teachers gift.

Love the primary colors and the cool graphics on the die cuts.

I think I like it...

Here is another end of school album - totally different take and made from a paper bag...

I think this one would work for some middle school kids and maybe even High school, maybe...

Something about these school albums makes me feel nostalgic..

Cute right?

anyway see this past month has kept me busy and vacationing so now back to the norm and more crafty projects to share.

Happy Hump Day...

Mother's Day Album

I just got a brand new paper pad from American Crafts and fell in love with the papers inside so I decided to make the sweetest mini chipboard album using those papers and some other small journaling tags to create this baby:

sweet right?

cute tag embellishments through out the album

the photo below is my favorite...

how sweet is that there tag?

I really love the colors - I love that the album is scattered with colors - I like that nothing really matches.

bright happy pinks, yellows, blues, gray and some green...happy summery and perfectly represents mommy & me.

I usually like to list my albums on ebay or etsy and even though Mother's Day is this Sunday it could still work as a birthday gift or belated Mother's day gift.

Anyway here is wishing you a beautiful weekend.

Wedding bliss

I can totally atest to there being such a thing as marital bliss. Really, if you are lucky enough to find the perfect guy then life will be filled with fun and love for a very long time. I have been married for 16 years (this years) and trully thought it wasn't possible to be with one person for so long...but now I can't imagine being with anyone else ever again!!!

So with love on my heart I created this new not so mini - 8 x 10 chipboard scrapbook to celebrate the happy couple and I used a new paper kit by Teresa Collins called SAVED THE DATE.

this is the cover- really simple

one of the pages

this is a large envelope that you could use to add photos to or some special notes that were given to the bride and groom.

this is the back of the envelope...

This is the last page of the book and I love it. I love the banners and the perfect spot for a simple black and white photo of the happy couple.

I am listing this in my ebay shop ---- if you are interested in it - check it out.

Happy scrapping!
