Project life

Oh my - time has flown by. Project life has taken a back seat but I am finally done crafting for bizness and now can enjoy what I love to do and that is to play with paper and scrapbook and paint and just create - FOR me...

 

I have been taking pictures with the intent to scrap them...so here I am sharing a few pages that pretty much share the past 2 months - September & October & the beginning of November - yowzers - what a jumbled mess...but I really wanted to stay on top of this so I will carry on...

I really want to work on adding some fun accents to my pics and to take better pics of these pages because they always look so dark - but of course in the interest of getting Project Life caught up - this is what you get sometimes...

Project Life - month at a time

o.k. so I have to share something with you - it may sound sad or just make me

look like a fool but here goes....I am the mom that anxiously awaited the time

all my kids would be in school and I could go back to work...sad I know.

I heard it all - that I will miss them once they grew up and that I should

treasure it all and enjoy them while they are young...don't get me wrong

I love my kidlets to DEATH....truly. I do ALOT of stuff with them DAILY

but I still wanted to go back to work....

fast forward to  today---Tuesday august 28th - 2012

My youngest son started kindergarten aug 6th and I have a 5th grader, &

a 7th grader and well can I just say that life is crazier then before.

I mean I am literally driving them to and from school all day long...

with maybe an hour between each pick up - it's pretty crazy!

with that said looks like NO job for me...sort of sad but also its my reality...

I am o.k. with that and am embracing my new role as TAXI DRIVER....

yeah yeah, what the heck does that have to do with PROJECT LIFE?

nothing really other than I am totally happy that I am keeping up with it

(sort of) documenting our everyday --- This months layouts include

the end of JULY through AUGUST - see there life is too crazy.

alot has gone on since July-the kids were in a wedding - I took the kids to

Bonelli Lake and played dress up with the little dude

in August I celebrated my 42nd birthday - had my first mammogram and had a BBQ at

my friends house...

back tracking a bit in July we also added another puppy to the mix...

enjoyed late night smores with the kids

me and the hubbs went on a work trip to Santa Barbara and I kept

momentos from each place we ate & stayed at...and there on the left

are my 2 kidlets walking into their first day of school...pure sweetness...

See, I guess if I had a job there would be really NO time for much else especially

PROJECT LIFE....

o.k. so no more complaining I am sure of it...

well at least not out loud.

Project Life Tuesday

Oh geez---Life is crazy - can you believe that school starts for my kids in2 weeks?

holy cow - summer went by fast but I gotta tell you that I am a bit happy that

class is back in session soon. I love my kids but keeping them busy is a daily CHORE.

Some days are better then others but I noticed as I was creating my PROJECT LIFE pages

that we DO do a LOT of items -most of the days of most weeks....

here's a peek at my recent weeks

We do our weekly normals - I like to call them...Thursdays I take care of one of my daughters friends for the day and it also happens to be the day we go to the Movies (see upper right corner)

early (9:45 a.m) then usually we go to our friend Darla's house and the kids swim and have lunch

We had a ridiculous heat wave - like 50% humidity - HOT

so we pulled out the Slip and Slide and the kids played in the water

for hours...and then we went up to the mountains and went to the lake there for a

birthday party and again played in the water and of course we hit some antique stores and

bought some fun "OLD" stuff

here is a close up of my trip to the nail salon with a friend of mine and got my summer toes

done. Also, you can see the kids laying out at the community pool - another weekly thing we do

is visit the community pool - keeps them busy for 2 hours and cool...BTW-I swim too...

overall I have realized that we are quite busy...so my fear of not doing much with my kids this summer is no longer a fear - I have proof - Hope you are having a fun summer!

Project Life June

Keeping up with Project Life is tough but try keeping up with project LIFE when Life alone
is tough enough to keep track of.  Do you feel that way too? I sure hope I am not the only one.
I love the idea of PROJECT LIFE and I do plan on keeping up because I love looking back
and have noticed the kids looking at the album recently too. SO the stress of it all will be worth it
in the end.

I started rather late and began with Father's Day

I used my authentique papers again because I am digging that color combo.

See that top photo - I am secretly addicted to this series of books. FIFTY SHADES of naughty. I finished

book 2 while on vacation in Vegas. and am waiting to get the third book. I gotta find time to

read it because once I start I seriously can't put it down.

Anyway, I got the middle 2 weeks of June done and now for the last week of June & July...

here's to keeping up!

wowzers - Project life is NOT as easy to keep up with as

I thought it would be. But by the time I get the photos uploaded,

printed and scrapped - well sometimes a few days or weeks pass.

But luckily for me, project life is not RIGID - it really is for me and my family. So there is no deadlines...thank goodness

May was crazy busy - with end of year celebrations, birthdays, mother's day and some fun outings we went on thru my hubbies work....
